Privacy Policy

The short version: bloom. does not collect, sell, or share your personal information. There are no accounts, no ad trackers, and no analytics SDKs watching you. Your game progress lives on your own device.

This policy explains how the bloom. app (“bloom.”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you play. By using bloom. you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, or device identifiers for advertising. bloom. has no login and no server of its own.

Data stored on your device

Your gameplay data — best depth, gems, unlocked cosmetics, settings, daily streaks, and similar progress — is saved locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage. It stays on your device. Deleting the app removes this data.

Apple Game Center (optional)

If you sign in to Apple’s Game Center, bloom. can submit your best depth to a leaderboard and report achievements so you can compare scores with others. This is handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Game Center is optional — the game is fully playable without signing in, and its built-in weekly League works offline.

In-app purchases

bloom. offers optional in-app purchases (gem packs and cosmetic items) processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details — Apple handles the entire transaction. We only receive confirmation that a purchase completed so we can unlock the corresponding item.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, bloom. schedules friendly local reminders on your device (for example, when a free gift is ready or your daily streak is at risk). These are generated and delivered locally by your device — they are not sent from a server and contain no personal data. You can turn them off any time in the app’s Settings or in iOS Settings.

What we don’t do

• No third-party advertising and no ad identifiers (bloom. has no ads).
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of personal data — we don’t collect it to begin with.
• No access to your photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or precise location.

Children’s privacy

bloom. is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party services

The only third party involved is Apple, which provides the App Store, in-app purchases, and Game Center. Your use of those features is also governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Data security

Because your progress is stored on your own device and we operate no servers that hold your data, there is no central database to breach. Device-level protections (such as your passcode and iOS encryption) safeguard your local data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
